In
order to carry out this important community project, we need
your support and goodwill. We have an outstanding committee of
local community leaders who are asking for your help in sponsoring
this historical re-enactment. The program will begin on the steps
of the Veterans' Memorial Building in Watsonville from where
the evacuation originally took place, and then move to the Mello
Center for the final stories and presentations. A special reception
for sponsors, supporters, and participants at the Pajaro Valley
Historical Association and YWCA on East Beach Street will follow.

need donations and sponsors to cover the cost of this important
